Managing Your Subscription
We’re thrilled that so many people are joining the Elevating What Works community as either free or paid subscribers. Thank you all for your interest and support! Here’s some important information regarding how you can manage your subscription.
Controlling your inbox
We produce content frequently. That being said, we want our audience of readers and podcast listeners to be a community based upon trust and engagement, not marketing chicanery. We also know that e-mails and notifications can become overwhelming. And we certainly don’t want you to leave us!
One reason we chose Substack as our platform is that you are always in the driver’s seat regarding your subscription. You can always update your account settings to include turning e-mails on or off.
Here’s what to do
Go to Elevating What Works on your browser.
Locate the menu with three horizontal lines in the upper right corner. Click on it and choose “Manage subscription.”
Under “Notifications,” click on the toggles to next to each section to turn e-mails on or off. That’s it! Here’s what that looks like:
Sections
It’s also helpful to understand that Elevating What Works comprises several sections. These currently are as follows:
Elevating What Works: This is our main section, in which we post about, well, what works! Anticipated frequency of new content: One to four times per month.
Good Leaders Do This: This section focuses on our Good Leaders Do This course and related materials. We’re anticipating launching the course in the summer of 2023, so stay tuned! Anticipated frequency of new content: To be determined.
The Indigo Podcast: This section contains notes and links related to The Indigo Podcast. In contrast to Good Leaders Do This, The Indigo Podcast features long-form content including interviews with guests. Anticipated frequency of new content: One to four times per month.
Reviews: This section contains descriptions, reviews, and reflections about books, articles, and other works that we find useful, inspiring, or intriguing. Anticipated frequency of new content: One to four times per month.
You might find value in the Substack apps
Additionally, you might find the Substack apps for both iOS and Android to be a wonderful way to engage with our work in addition to or completely outside of e-mail. If you are using one of the apps, you can control notifications for the app within your phone settings.
